SO. I’ve got my blog up and warming-up-to-start-a-quick-walk-that-will-eventually-turn-into-powerwalking-jogging-and-running, and while I’m tying my digital footprint together why not get my Let’s Play stream back on its feet, eh?
So, I chose a game at random (Home, because I was told it’s creepy) and off I went!
WHAT IN THE FUCK.
I made several mistakes here.
The primary one being: creepy does not mean scary.
Amnesia, Slender and Penumbra are scary.
Home, Lone Survivor and Dear Ester are creepy.
The scary games have made me scream.
The creepy games have made me ‘wtf’ – slightly less satisfying for the viewer.
Still, I got back into the rhythm of recording videos, and will be taking my laptop to the computer labs at uni to steal their epic upload speeds.
I hope it works.
Because the videos haven’t uploaded yet the links aren’t embedded yet. (God I hope you can embed things in WordPress – I haven’t been totally impressed with the UI thus far)
That’ll happen soon.
If, dear reader, you find yourself devoid of 20-120 minutes and know what a good play-through looks like, please have a look at the videos and send me feedback! I really need to know how to improve 🙂
It’s been a good day.
It’s been a weird day.
It’s been a creepy game day.
It has not been a scary game day.
And, viewers, I hope you forgive me.
I knew no better.
Any advice or feedback on my let’s-play-ing? Please drop me a line!
