Because that’s totally what gremlins sound like.
Update on my boring degree: I SUCK SO HARD AT RUBY ON RAILS.
Not really; I’m tots amazeballs. I am, however, biblically lazy. Hopefully my teammates don’t read this.
I got till Sunday to make progress; it’ll be fiiiine.
Although I did learn yesterday at a party that my computer science degree is both a) more snobby and b) more applied than the local poly-cum-uni [I’m awesome at parties] – we learn about 4-6x more programming languages (not kidding) than Hallam, but they think we’re more “pure maths than their applied skills”. I don’t understand.
[FUN FACT: Computer Science was created by mathematicians to to computation questions maths couldn’t solve; that puts CompSci on level pegging with Physics by xkcd levels (link below), and is great for infuriating Physicists who’re up themselves. If only people could decide where to put us. We’re often Engineers, Scientists or Mathematicians. It gets confusing.]
For anyone curious on what programming languages I know, facepalm your computer keyboard and put a space every 3 or 4 characters. If it’s in all caps, even better.
On game-speak, which is what this blog is partly about, I’ll be doing some more Penumbra tonight, and maaaaaybe another indie game? Or possibly Slender The Arrival. I dunno.
Feedback at my email address (in contact page) or comment below – you know the drill.
Pages will update for P:BP and whatever else I play at some appropriate point.
Catch you later!
xkcd comic: although we’re obviously higher up than Physics.
